The last place I called home

To me, a luxurious life is a life full of the things I love, nothing more. Space to create. Friends to walk and drink wine with. Seasons. Traveling at every opportunity. While some artists like to live right in the middle of big cities, I like to live a little on the outside where things are quieter. Where I can process my experience slowly, pause often, wonder whenever.

3D Paper Design

Fragile creations folded from countless hours became a personal possession I could no longer hold onto forever. After hauling this piece from Chicago to Austin, on a temporary move, I decided to let it go. I took a photo as a memento and wondered if someone walking by would give this a new home. I will never know.

Art work is often a buddhist practise in labor without attachment. This piece did serve in giving me a passing grade for my undergraduate studies in 3D design, which I had the good luck of having a patient teacher for.
